Colin Carswell

Colin Carswell is an award-winning actor, writer, and musician based in NYC. Growing up, he dreamed of becoming a member of Destiny’s Child—until reality (and his legs) forced him to pivot to acting and writing. This vivacious and charismatic creative recently won Best Writing for a Dramatic Short at the Micheaux Film Festival and was last seen singing with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra.

Currently, he is developing his first digital series with his producing partner and best friend Juwan Chambers. Set on becoming one of Hollywood’s next big multi-hyphenates, Colin is passionate about reflecting the beautiful, complex messes we all tend to be. His ultimate goal? To tell stories that reveal the successes and flaws of the human condition—and, most importantly, to make some bomb-ass art.
