Jaselle Martino

Showrunner

Jaselle Martino has spent the past decade making a lasting impact in both narrative and documentary filmmaking.

The Trinbagonian-born, New York-based producer’s notable credits include producing for PBS, HBO, Disney/ABC Television, and Hulu. Her recent projects range from producing OWN/Hulu's hybrid docu-series, THE HAIR TALES (EP’d by Tracee Ellis Ross and Oprah Winfrey) to producing a Disney+ series GROWING UP and a Bloomberg Original Series called Post Human with Emily Chang.

Jaselle's most recent feature, ABDO AND SANEYA, directed by Omar Bakry with music supervised by Jerome Lateur (The Artist) just kicked off its festival journey at the Red Sea International Film Festival.

Jaselle's passion for filmmaking is amplified by the need to undo stereotypical tropes that are used in storytelling and the media.
